MidAmerica’s Momentum: Powered by Vision, Built for What’s Next
06/09/2025

MidAmerica Industrial Park is in the midst of a defining moment—one that’s years in the making and now accelerating with the momentum of new investment, new talent pipelines and a renewed commitment to building not just a place of business but a place to belong.
With CBC Global Ammunition’s $300 million investment and 350 new jobs on the horizon, the impact across our region will be immediate and long-lasting. But this milestone is not an endpoint—it’s a time when our history helps define our future. We call this next chapter Project Horizon, and it represents the future of MidAmerica as a fully integrated community: where industry, workforce, education, housing and lifestyle meet.
To support the growth ahead, we’re actively planning new housing developments and preparing for suppliers who will follow CBC’s lead. We’re also continuing to expand amenities in The District, including new dining and retail options, to make MidAmerica a place where employees, families and visitors want to live, work and stay.
Workforce development remains a top priority. Our recently launched Electrical and Electronics Technology Program, created in partnership with Northeast Tech and OSU Institute of Technology, is just one example of how we’re aligning educational opportunities with employer needs in advanced manufacturing, energy and defense.
There’s a growing sense of momentum across the Park, the result of sustained focus and forward-thinking leadership. Our long-term investments in infrastructure, workforce and quality-of-life initiatives have positioned MidAmerica as a premier destination for global industry. And now, with CBC’s commitment, we’re setting the pace for what comes next.
We’re ready—and we’re just getting started.
Onward,
David Stewart
