Special Zones

MidAmerica’s designation as both an Enterprise Zone and a Foreign Trade Zone creates savings and advantages, including labor, investment, and material and manufacturing costs.

Enterprise Zone

Qualified businesses choosing to claim Oklahoma’s New Jobs/Investment Tax Credits enjoy double the tax credit—2% of the cost of depreciable property or $1,000 per employee, whichever is higher.

Federal Opportunity Zone

This is a federal incentive that benefits local and state investors. By investing in an Opportunity Zone, through a qualifying Opportunity Fund, investors can defer and/or reduce their federal capital gains tax liability.

Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)

Our Foreign Trade Zone designation gives your business numerous significant advantages, from eliminating costs to increasing efficiency.
